Engagement Session at Scarborough Bluffs
It’s kinda difficult to explain how ridiculously awesome Sarah and AJ are as a couple, as people and as models in front of the camera! They were such naturals, you’d probably find it hard to believe that this was their first time being professionally photographed.
Their love story is really sweet. They met working at a pool as lifeguards and Sarah was AJ’s supervisor! After becoming really good friends and secretly falling for each other, it was Sarah who made the first move. It’s very obvious that after three years together, they are still just as crazy about each other.
We had a pretty adventurous Engagement Session at Scarborough Bluffs. I had always seen other photographers post pictures right by the cliffs but could never figure out how to get there myself! I had tried to make the trek with other couples before but we always seemed to come to a dead end. This time, I consulted with other local photographers before the shoot and had a map in hand to help us find the way! Turns out, it was pretty easy to find all along! 😉 The shoot started off bright and airy with the sun shining as it was coming down and, as the sun set, the photos came out a little darker and even more romantic… the perfect combination.
Engagement Sessions at Scarborough Bluffs are probably my favourite out of any location in the GTA. I live in Cambridge so it’s about a 1.5 hour drive to get there, but it is worth it every single time! There are so many beautiful backdrops to choose from and now that I know how to find the cliffs, it’s even better than I could have imagined! The best part of all, where you’re there, it doesn’t feel like you’re in the city at all. It feels like you have just time-warped into some beach oasis somewhere way more exotic than Toronto!
We are SO excited about Sarah and AJ’s Muskoka wedding coming July 2019. It’s going to be a bit of wait, but super worth it to be part of this gorgeous couple’s love story.
